Bio
After returning from a challenging overseas contract in 2013, Rachelle Davis faced an unexpected battle with chronic fatigue, a stark contrast to the energy and vitality she once knew. The transition was tough; sleepless nights, difficulty exercising, and an injury that seemed to halt her recovery at every turn. Rachelle's move to Texas brought more surprises when a routine VA physical revealed elevated blood pressure, a condition foreign to her past health experiences.
Armed with a recent certification as a holistic health coach, Rachelle sought answers, starting with a stress seminar and an enlightening exam by an acupuncturist. The diagnosis was clear: chronic fatigue syndrome. Undeterred, she meticulously researched every symptom and crafted a regimen that led to her healing. Today, Rachelle is dedicated to guiding others through similar struggles, aiming to reignite the hope and health once dimmed by life’s unexpected turns.

00:00:00.281 --> 00:00:14.868
I was just shocked because I was like, okay, well, when I went to the doctor, they took my blood pressure and it was high, and so he showed me, standing up, which would normally be the working position, my blood pressure was low.
00:00:14.868 --> 00:00:20.501
Getting down, in the resting position, my blood pressure was high, so it was reversed.
00:00:20.501 --> 00:00:41.890
It was reversed, and so that was just one of the symptoms amongst the other ones I discovered, which led me to my diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome.
00:00:41.909 --> 00:00:49.076
Hi, I'm Linus Woods Mullins and I love to help women to vibe to be more vibrant, intuitive, beautiful and empowered in midlife.
00:00:51.581 --> 00:00:58.405
So come on, let's vibe.
00:01:02.247 --> 00:01:11.534
I had a friend once who kept getting tired and she couldn't figure out why she was getting so tired and this was about 25 years ago and she took tests.
00:01:11.534 --> 00:01:16.096
She went to doctors and no one could quite figure out what was going on with her.
00:01:16.096 --> 00:01:34.951
I started just looking on the Internet for white papers on her symptoms and I came across a term that I had never heard before, called chronic fatigue, and I said I don't know exactly what this is because this was before I got into wellness, and I said but you know, you need to ask a doctor what this is and if he's familiar with it.
00:01:34.951 --> 00:01:50.471
Well, she did and he wasn't that familiar, but he and his team got together and, after a series of tests and consulting with some experts at the time in that field, she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome.
00:01:50.793 --> 00:01:56.308
Chronic fatigue syndrome has probably been around for a long time, but I'm sure many were misdiagnosed.
00:01:56.308 --> 00:02:02.909
Today we have somebody with us who knows firsthand what it's like to deal with chronic fatigue syndrome.
00:02:02.909 --> 00:02:31.673
I'm so glad to introduce to you Rochelle Ben-Jose, a female combat Air Force veteran and now she's a holistic chronic fatigue health coach, and she found a way to heal herself holistically from chronic fatigue, and her goal now is to teach others about this same issue and to help restore hope to millions of people that have been suffering from chronic fatigue, because many times it is misdiagnosed or goes undiagnosed.
00:02:31.673 --> 00:02:34.567
Welcome, rochelle, to the Vibe Living Podcast.
00:02:34.567 --> 00:02:35.950
It's wonderful to have you here today.
00:02:36.479 --> 00:02:36.942
Thank you.
00:02:36.942 --> 00:02:38.106
Thank you, I'm happy to be here.
00:02:39.199 --> 00:02:44.455
So tell us a little bit about you and how this whole journey with chronic fatigue started for you.
00:02:45.538 --> 00:02:52.633
Okay, well, it started when I was contracting as a civilian working overseas for the government.
00:02:52.633 --> 00:03:08.360
I'm prior military, I'm a veteran, and so as a veteran, we have the experience to go and work overseas as a government contractor, you know, for the military and with the military, overseas as a government contractor, you know, for the military and with the military.
00:03:08.360 --> 00:03:24.289
So my position was working overnight grave shift and it just so happened that working this position, I had the last six months of my contract left, so I decided to work the whole six months straight through.
00:03:24.289 --> 00:03:29.806
We worked about 12 to 14 hour shifts and we didn't have any days off.
00:03:29.806 --> 00:03:43.562
Okay, so that combined with a horrible supervisor that had just come on, and I was just so stressed out from dealing with my supervisor working at night.
00:03:43.562 --> 00:03:56.306
And the one thing is, when you work at night, you don't get the same quality of sleep that you do, you know, when you just you know you work during the day and you go to sleep at night like normal.
00:03:56.306 --> 00:04:07.074
So I did that for six months nonstop and I was, yes, very tired when I was on my way home and by the time I got home.
00:04:07.074 --> 00:04:12.709
So I took about a month and I was trying to get acclimated.
00:04:12.709 --> 00:04:24.223
You know, once I left and went back to the United States and I would just notice little things that were going on, I injured myself exercising.
00:04:24.223 --> 00:04:41.041
I was trying to get back to that time zone, so my sleep wasn't quite, you know, the way it was normally, or it would have been if I wasn't making that transition, and I was just having a difficult time exercising and losing weight, that type of thing.
00:04:41.041 --> 00:04:45.713
So, like I said, it took about a month to really really settle in.
00:04:45.980 --> 00:04:52.396
And then shortly after that I had moved to Texas and I went to the VA.
00:04:52.396 --> 00:05:02.300
There I had a physical and one thing for my physical came back, my doctors told me that I had high blood pressure.
00:05:02.300 --> 00:05:08.824
And I was like, wow really, because I've never had high blood pressure, I've always been active.
00:05:08.824 --> 00:05:16.447
My blood pressure has always been low, okay, so you know, maybe a little bit lower than I guess normal you would say.
00:05:16.447 --> 00:05:23.170
So my doctor's like well, I can put you on, you know, some medication and they're always quick to put you on medication.
00:05:23.170 --> 00:05:30.023
You know that's the first thing they want to offer.
00:05:30.023 --> 00:05:31.406
And I was like, oh no, I'm not taking any medication.
00:05:31.406 --> 00:05:40.132
I said if I have a problem I can deal with it and I'll just, you know, watch what I eat and lower it, you know, through food, because I've never been real big on taking medication anyways.
00:05:40.132 --> 00:05:48.906
So after that I noticed that I started waking up three o'clock in the morning with hot flashes and I was like, wow, this is crazy.
00:05:48.906 --> 00:05:57.204
And so then, shortly after that, I went to the acupuncturist and they were trying to give me herbs and whatnot, but it wasn't working.
00:05:57.204 --> 00:06:04.331
So when I had gotten back to the United States, I completed my certificate for holistic health coaching.
00:06:04.350 --> 00:06:13.105
To the United States, I completed my certificate for holistic health coaching and so I decided okay, I'm going to go to, you know, seminars, you know, try and educate myself some more on different things.
00:06:13.105 --> 00:06:14.608
And so I went to a seminar.
00:06:14.608 --> 00:06:19.343
This seminar was on stress, it just so happens.
00:06:19.343 --> 00:06:23.853
And so, you know, I did learn some things in that seminar.
00:06:23.853 --> 00:06:27.079
And so, you know, I did learn some things in that seminar.
00:06:27.079 --> 00:06:29.322
And then the seminar was put on by an acupuncturist.
00:06:29.343 --> 00:06:41.353
This particular doctor had done four years in America and four years in China, so he kind of blended what he learned with you know, allopathic medicine here in the Western world.
00:06:41.353 --> 00:06:47.100
And so once he gave me a physical and that was free, it came along with a seminar.
00:06:47.100 --> 00:07:09.889
He diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome, and I'd never heard of it up until that point myself, and so I was just shocked because I was like, okay, well, when I went to the doctor, they took my blood pressure and it was high, and so he showed me standing up, which would normally be the working position, my blood pressure was low.
00:07:09.889 --> 00:07:14.531
Sitting down in the resting position, my blood pressure was high.
00:07:14.531 --> 00:07:25.940
So it was reversed, and so that was just one of the symptoms amongst the other ones I discovered, which led me to my diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome.
00:07:27.204 --> 00:07:28.427
You know that's pretty fascinating.
00:07:28.427 --> 00:07:32.401
The first thing is that all of our bodies are unique unto themselves.
00:07:32.401 --> 00:07:37.701
No one body is alike and when we go to the doctor we need to keep that in mind.
00:07:37.701 --> 00:07:45.266
That's why it's so important to keep a journal of your symptoms and things that are going on so that you can discuss it intelligently with your doctor.
00:07:45.266 --> 00:08:03.406
And I always say that if your doctor is the kind of doctor who doesn't want a lot of questions, doesn't want to take time to talk to you, then you probably need to find another doctor, because that conversation is pivotal in terms of his being able to diagnose you, because you are so different from the last patient that he had.
00:08:03.406 --> 00:08:05.752
So you've got the diagnosis of chronic fatigue.
00:08:06.279 --> 00:08:18.319
And what made for you about it, one of the end results of chronic stress, and actually it has to do with the nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system and your adrenal glands.
00:08:18.319 --> 00:08:21.990
So I've always really referred to it as adrenal fatigue.
00:08:21.990 --> 00:08:34.511
Referred to it as adrenal fatigue, and it's kind of like your adrenals aren't functioning as they would normally function and your body is stuck in fight or flight mode.
00:08:34.511 --> 00:08:44.788
Okay, so your body is kind of, you know, confused on the situation that you're in because of all the chronic stress, so it's kind of stuck, okay.
00:08:44.788 --> 00:08:59.331
So basically, your adrenal glands, they're not functioning the way they should be, and so then it affects your nervous system Okay, and then that affects for women, well your hormones.
00:08:59.331 --> 00:09:14.832
It affects your brain Okay, so you may have brain fog, muscle weakness and muscle pain, specifically for men, as I said before, I was getting hot flashes, waking up at three o'clock in the morning.
00:09:14.832 --> 00:09:19.285
It affects your gut Okay, so that's important also.
00:09:19.285 --> 00:09:25.291
And it also affects your immune system Okay, so it affects several parts.
00:09:25.751 --> 00:09:33.626
That's interesting too, because we have a tendency as women, especially midlife women, sometimes ignore those little signs and just kind of write it off as something else.
00:09:33.626 --> 00:09:40.953
But when you take a look at the accumulation of occurrences of all the different little signs, it's amazing how you will come up with a diagnosis.
00:09:40.953 --> 00:09:51.981
But because we do not keep track of it or we kind of push it back, we don't always, you know, let anyone know what's going on, and then you know an event happens and then that's when you find out.
00:09:51.981 --> 00:09:55.918
I would imagine your goal is to help women before the event happens.
00:09:55.918 --> 00:09:57.563
And tell me how you do that.
00:09:57.563 --> 00:10:05.308
What kinds of things do you help women with in terms of preventing chronic fatigue or dealing with the leftover residuals of chronic fatigue?
00:10:06.070 --> 00:10:12.649
Well, I would say it's more, once they get to that stage, you could I don't know if you can prevent it.
00:10:12.649 --> 00:10:22.576
I think it's more like dealing with your stress and knowing how to deal with stress to prevent things from going that far and that being the end result.
00:10:22.576 --> 00:10:31.840
If you are dealing with chronic fatigue, it's one of those things where you cannot just look at the one thing, like you can't sleep.
00:10:31.840 --> 00:10:33.008
Ok, you have fatigue.
00:10:33.008 --> 00:10:49.240
Obviously you have to look at the whole person and, depending on your symptoms, you know it's going to kind of affect you know what you want to address through food, exercise, just your habits and your lifestyle, basically.
00:10:49.240 --> 00:10:53.392
So it's not like you can go on a low-fat diet, it's nothing like that.
00:10:54.033 --> 00:10:55.918
I think that's a common misconception.
00:10:55.918 --> 00:11:04.046
It's not like you can just address okay, I can't sleep, you know, let me go on Adderall or something like that.
00:11:04.046 --> 00:11:06.211
That's not going to help you either.
00:11:06.211 --> 00:11:16.144
I do remember also, when I had gone to that first acupuncturist, she thought that oh well, maybe you're going through menopause.
00:11:16.144 --> 00:11:20.875
I was 42 at the time and I was like no, that's not it.
00:11:20.875 --> 00:11:21.697
That's not it.
00:11:21.697 --> 00:11:22.238
You know what I mean.
00:11:22.238 --> 00:11:22.804
That's not it.
00:11:22.804 --> 00:11:42.153
I think that people can get hung up on that one symptom with their doctor and maybe disregard all the other symptoms you know, thinking that it's just that one thing and it's not.
00:11:42.774 --> 00:11:47.636
That's why, when it comes to doctors, allopathic, you know they treat one thing.
00:11:47.636 --> 00:11:53.879
They'll treat one thing at a time, but with chronic fatigue you have to treat the whole person.
00:11:53.879 --> 00:11:56.841
And it's nutrition.
00:11:56.841 --> 00:11:57.701
You know what I mean.
00:11:57.701 --> 00:12:01.644
It's certain exercises, absolutely.
00:12:06.019 --> 00:12:07.125
Yeah, a myriad of things.
00:12:07.125 --> 00:12:12.788
When you were going through your chronic fatigue experience.
00:12:12.788 --> 00:12:14.110
What?
00:12:14.150 --> 00:12:15.253
were some of the biggest obstacles that you encountered.
00:12:15.253 --> 00:12:18.899
I couldn't exercise like I did before.
00:12:18.899 --> 00:12:21.729
I couldn't eat the same foods.
00:12:21.729 --> 00:12:24.894
Sugar is something you just you have to stay away from.
00:12:24.894 --> 00:12:25.837
I would eat.
00:12:25.837 --> 00:12:30.490
Sugar is something you just you have to stay away from.
00:12:30.490 --> 00:12:31.533
I would eat sugar and I would crash.
00:12:31.533 --> 00:12:32.395
I mean, I had to take a nap.
00:12:32.395 --> 00:12:33.640
I would just be so tired I couldn't function so.
00:12:33.640 --> 00:12:36.788
But sugar comes in many different forms, you know.
00:12:36.788 --> 00:12:40.075
So that's why you have to be really careful.
00:12:40.075 --> 00:12:41.879
You can't eat all fruits.
00:12:41.879 --> 00:12:42.888
Some fruits have too much sugar.
00:12:42.908 --> 00:12:45.134
Okay, and let's talk about that too, because you were saying you know, be careful about eating sugar.
00:12:45.134 --> 00:12:45.354
What kinds?
00:12:45.354 --> 00:12:53.572
And let's talk about that too, because you were saying you know, be careful about eating sugar what kinds of things should we be looking out for in terms of sugar consumption?
00:12:53.572 --> 00:12:57.788
What kind of things should we definitely avoid when it comes to trying to get back on sugars?
00:12:59.111 --> 00:12:59.714
Orange juice.
00:12:59.714 --> 00:13:00.956
It seems healthy.
00:13:00.956 --> 00:13:04.409
It's not going to be something that you want to consume.
00:13:04.409 --> 00:13:06.490
I didn't consume any orange juice.
00:13:06.490 --> 00:13:09.417
You can find other things.
00:13:09.417 --> 00:13:11.389
You can find alternatives.
00:13:11.389 --> 00:13:19.674
Processed foods Okay, you can't do processed foods, you just cannot.
00:13:19.895 --> 00:13:22.591
Yeah, you'd be surprised how much sugar and other things.
00:13:22.591 --> 00:13:24.316
Oh yeah, chemicals.
00:13:24.316 --> 00:13:33.318
Yeah, chemicals and all kinds of things, hormones to prolong the chicken's life, so that when they cut it her thighs are fully developed, or whatever they're doing.
00:13:35.706 --> 00:13:44.100
So, yeah, if you're addicted to food, then the processed foods are going to be hard to cut out, or maybe the sugars and sweets, depending on the person.
00:13:44.100 --> 00:13:46.548
That's something you have to really deal with.
00:13:46.548 --> 00:13:55.181
And then just establishing a routine, because consistency is key to overcoming chronic fatigue.
00:13:56.426 --> 00:14:06.371
Now you mentioned the whole stress factor and that being a huge symptom or indicator, if you will, of this chronic disease element that you have.
00:14:06.371 --> 00:14:13.173
What kinds of things, from a perspective, did you do to begin to minimize your stress?
00:14:13.533 --> 00:14:13.975
Oh yeah.
00:14:13.975 --> 00:14:18.529
Well, one thing that I did more of was meditation.
00:14:18.529 --> 00:14:30.107
A lot of people like I'd meditated in the past, but I think a lot of people don't meditate and don't understand exactly the benefits of meditation.
00:14:30.107 --> 00:14:37.039
So meditation is good for stress, good for sleeping, good for losing weight.
00:14:37.039 --> 00:14:39.107
It has many benefits.
00:14:39.107 --> 00:14:50.567
But when speaking about stress, that's something that you can do morning, evening, whenever is meditate, and it will lower your stress levels.
00:14:51.711 --> 00:15:00.269
That's interesting, because so many people are thinking that you have to do all these things and take all this stuff in order to lower your stress levels, because it's kind of a domino effect.
00:15:00.269 --> 00:15:16.548
Once you begin to start doing what's right for your body, then the body starts responding to that and then intuitively, you'll know other things to do as well to heal.
00:15:16.548 --> 00:15:20.159
What are the key takeaways that you have surmised from your experience in dealing with chronic fatigue that anything's possible.
00:15:20.360 --> 00:15:21.826
There's no reason to lose hope.
00:15:21.826 --> 00:15:24.311
You can heal yourself.
00:15:24.311 --> 00:15:37.639
Naturally, there are ways to do that, and I know in the beginning, when I was diagnosed, they offered me acupuncture and that's one way in one tool.
00:15:37.639 --> 00:15:40.528
But that's not the only tool.
00:15:40.528 --> 00:15:48.660
And then also, this is not curable via any type of drug or medicine.
00:15:48.660 --> 00:15:51.309
It's just not.
00:15:53.167 --> 00:15:54.211
That's very interesting.
00:15:54.211 --> 00:15:57.173
I was just thinking about when these new drugs come out.
00:15:57.173 --> 00:16:01.655
We're never really sure how things are going to react.
00:16:01.655 --> 00:16:19.508
We would have done the same thing for years of studies but, as I said earlier in the program, because we're all so different, it's really hard to predict how people might react to any kind of drug or any kind of practice to try to get rid of whatever symptom that's undesirable that you have Now along your journey.
00:16:19.508 --> 00:16:26.360
What were some of the key learnings that you learned about you and your body and how it was impacted by chronic disease?
00:16:31.445 --> 00:16:32.870
you and your body and how it was impacted by chronic disease.
00:16:32.870 --> 00:16:34.537
Yeah, so I would say, not everybody is susceptible to chronic fatigue.
00:16:34.557 --> 00:16:47.797
You know what I mean, because everybody does have a different makeup of their body, but I know that I am and from that point on I decided that you know what you don't have to challenge and argue with everybody.
00:16:47.797 --> 00:16:58.927
If someone or a situation is going to cause any type of stress, then maybe you need to you know eliminate that.
00:16:58.927 --> 00:17:11.227
So it's kind of like you got to pick your battles and just realize that I don't want to get sucked back into that disease again, so I need to take care of myself.
00:17:11.227 --> 00:17:15.255
So would you say you're 100% chronic fatigue free?
00:17:15.255 --> 00:17:23.979
Oh, yeah, I don't have any of those symptoms or experience that I did, eating sugar or anything like that.
00:17:23.979 --> 00:17:25.948
Yeah, I don't have any issues like that anymore.
00:17:26.328 --> 00:17:31.739
So what were some of the strategies that you used to be effective regarding your energy?
00:17:33.464 --> 00:17:36.451
Oh well, like I said, consistency.
00:17:36.451 --> 00:18:01.518
Once you do decide on a routine of what you're going to eat every day, you know how you're going to exercise, so on, so forth, you want to write down every day what you do, what you're experiencing, because keeping track of how your day went, you know day by day and whatnot, is the only way you're going to realize that you're actually healing.
00:18:01.518 --> 00:18:05.425
And you know, I slept a little bit longer today.
00:18:05.425 --> 00:18:06.446
I didn't wake up.
00:18:06.446 --> 00:18:06.928
You know what?
00:18:06.928 --> 00:18:08.528
I slept a little bit longer today, I didn't wake up.
00:18:08.528 --> 00:18:09.028
You know what I mean.
00:18:09.048 --> 00:18:19.097
The hot flashes, that type of thing, and I would imagine too, talking about it and getting it out, sharing the experience also is one way to eradicate the disease's hold on you psychologically.
00:18:19.578 --> 00:18:37.119
Many times we have to change the stories we tell about what we've been through Not that it didn't happen and not that we want to lie about it, but we want to put some kind of a spin on it that lets us you know, reminds us that you got through this, you are whole and there were some positive things that came out of it.
00:18:37.140 --> 00:18:42.656
Maybe the positive thing is that you no longer eat red widgets where before you did you know so many times.
00:18:42.656 --> 00:19:01.911
With the diagnosis comes a sense of confirmation First of all, I know I'm not going crazy Also, a sense of having listened to your body, that, even though same thing to be okay on the surface because that's one thing I hear attributed to women all the time and I'm wondering if you've heard this too oh, you're just tired.
00:19:01.911 --> 00:19:05.749
Oh, you work so hard, you play so many roles, you do so much.
00:19:05.749 --> 00:19:14.114
I mean, I hear that a lot in regards to women and I always wonder, because of my friends' experience with client fatigue, how do they know that they're just tired.
00:19:14.114 --> 00:19:15.788
Have you ever run into that situation?
00:19:15.829 --> 00:19:16.130
before.
00:19:16.130 --> 00:19:17.796
Yeah, I agree.
00:19:17.796 --> 00:19:28.938
Well, just through research you know, not only with the symptoms but the length of time that you've been consistently experiencing those symptoms.
00:19:28.938 --> 00:19:41.317
So they say, if you've been experiencing these symptoms for six months or longer, then you probably are experiencing some chronic fatigue even going to the doctor.
00:19:41.805 --> 00:19:42.164
You know what I?
00:19:42.204 --> 00:20:01.162
mean they may or may not confirm it for you, because, oh, like you know, like you said, oh, you just you know this and oh, and maybe not even acknowledge, you know that you're experiencing these things also.
00:20:02.125 --> 00:20:03.491
That's something that's very real.
00:20:03.491 --> 00:20:12.016
What specific strategies have you developed over time that were most effective when it came to regaining some of your energy?
00:20:14.046 --> 00:20:34.051
Just make sure that I stay consistent with the food that I'm intaking and also implementing just natural products, whether it be lotion or anything that I put on my body, so trying to avoid anything that has all those chemicals and whatnot.
00:20:34.051 --> 00:20:36.336
I don't use perfume.
00:20:36.336 --> 00:20:41.051
I do detox, so that's one thing that I do.
00:20:41.051 --> 00:20:42.415
I detox.
00:20:42.778 --> 00:20:45.665
Now, what's one of your favorite yet simple detoxes?
00:20:45.665 --> 00:20:47.468
Do you have a recipe you can share with us?
00:20:51.653 --> 00:20:54.617
well, I tend to order herbs.
00:20:54.617 --> 00:21:02.836
I tend to order herbs is what I do you take the Ayurvedic route for detoxing yeah, I guess you can say that it's.
00:21:03.277 --> 00:21:08.592
it's like a a huge combination of herbs and they don't taste well at all.
00:21:08.592 --> 00:21:22.501
But if I was to give you you I I mean with chronic fatigue, you really don't want to do any fasting because of your blood sugar and all that, but possibly you can do juice.
00:21:22.501 --> 00:21:31.779
I like to do juice, smoothies, fruit, but it, just like I said, it depends on the fruit.
00:21:31.779 --> 00:21:37.622
But that's what I do now, now that I'm past that right right now.
00:21:37.903 --> 00:21:43.369
How has your personal healing influenced the way you cope others with similar conditions?
00:21:45.295 --> 00:21:50.809
well, I could just say that I can relate because I've experienced this firsthand.
00:21:50.809 --> 00:21:59.615
So I can relate to people in what they're going through and it's easy to suggest different things for them.
00:21:59.674 --> 00:22:02.361
To try you know, yes, I do, you know.
00:22:02.361 --> 00:22:13.461
It's interesting because I haven't worked with anyone with chronic fatigue except for my friend, and at that time because the doctors weren't quite sure what to do and he was into wellness a little bit.
00:22:13.461 --> 00:22:29.093
I didn't know anything about the mind-body-spirit movement holistic, nothing whatever but through her he kind of opened up a world that I hadn't really considered Aromatherapy, meditation, yoga, chinese medicine, tapping, I mean.
00:22:29.093 --> 00:22:44.894
She went through the plethora of things to see what could help and actually they all helped a little bit somewhat, if for no other reason than it made her feel better because she was doing something towards trying to get better.
00:22:45.476 --> 00:22:54.320
Over time she did get better, but unfortunately about two or three years later after she was diagnosed, then she was then diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
00:22:54.320 --> 00:23:09.278
Two or three years later after she was diagnosed, then she was then diagnosed with Alzheimer's, which was, you know, I don't know if this was an offshoot of what happened with the chronic fatigue, they don't really know it, just it happened and unfortunately she ended up passing as a result of complications from Alzheimer's.
00:23:09.278 --> 00:23:23.212
But I really do believe that she did extend her life in terms of chronic fatigue as a result of doing all these different things that gave her some relief, helped renew her energy, and she was so much more vital when she was.
00:23:23.212 --> 00:23:27.692
One of the things that she did a lot of was using herbs and also aromatherapy.
00:23:27.692 --> 00:23:30.298
Aromatherapy seemed to help her a lot.
00:23:30.298 --> 00:23:35.731
She had certain mixtures that she would put in certain pulse points and that seemed to help as well.
00:23:35.731 --> 00:23:43.257
Now, when it comes to working with people with chronic fatigue, what's your ultimate goal in helping others and how do you plan to achieve that?
00:23:44.558 --> 00:24:01.001
Well, I have a program that I've created based on everything that I've gone through, that I know that works, and it's called the Four Core Blueprint and it's a group program and course that people can sign up for.
00:24:01.001 --> 00:24:20.773
But my ultimate goal is to restore help, because people do need help and a lot of people have gone without help, sometimes for years, just because they're either misdiagnosed or not diagnosed by their physicians.
00:24:22.195 --> 00:24:48.840
And so at least if I can help to restore some hope, people will heal, people will feel better, people will live a healthier life, you know I just think that it's important because I think for the us it's like 3.3 million people suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome is what I believe I read, and it's just sad because there is a way.
00:24:48.840 --> 00:24:50.111
There is a way to get through.
00:24:50.131 --> 00:24:59.750
That's a lot of tired people, that's a lot of tired people, which means they're not able to really live life to the fullest because they have this particular malady.
00:24:59.750 --> 00:25:11.030
Now for people for those of you who are listening, you can definitely take a look at the links that rochelle has for us to find out more about that course and more about different ways to connect with her.
00:25:11.030 --> 00:25:19.625
We also have her social media, so go ahead and follow her on social media, but definitely find out more about this, because you'd be surprised If it's not you.
00:25:19.625 --> 00:25:30.151
You may have a friend, like I did, that's suffering from the same things and not quite sure what to do, and here are some possible answers that can help you, because quiet fatigue is definitely a journey.
00:25:30.151 --> 00:25:34.622
It's not something that you get over like right away, but there are things that you can do.
